Branch Assistant/ Yard Operative - Cambridge
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm (Hours may vary slightly)
- £26K - 22 days holiday + Bank holidays
- 4X salary - Death in service
- Around £3K bonus if targets are hit
- ASAP start - possible temp to perm option
Job Description
Together with our client we are actively looking to appoint a Branch/Yard Assistant to join a friendly team. If you are a flexible individual who enjoys a small team environment, likes being outdoors and can provide excellent customer service, this may be the perfect fit for you!
Your job - This role involves:
- Processing and picking customer orders accurately
- Loading and unloading of vehicles using a fork lift (Desirable)
- Providing customers with product and service information, including serving on the trade counter when required
- Keeping a safe, organised and professional looking yard
- General warehouse duties
Job Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Literacy & Numeracy
- An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
- Warehouse/yard experience
- A good knowledge of computers
- Fork Lift licence (desirable - Although my client would be willing to put you through training)
